Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Paris - Hybrid (2-3 days in office), No relocation

Salary: €45,000 - €55,700

In the Sonos AI team we design the future of AI based interactions to power music control and content discovery for Sonos customers on any control surfaces (Sonos HW, Sonos Application, Sonos Voice Control)

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to be a part of the design, development and implementation of the Sonos AI test infrastructure and long term validation strategy. You will play a central role in building and driving our validation strategy. You will report directly to the QA manager.
Effective cross-functional teamwork is vital for this role, making strong collaboration skills essential.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Test automation.

• MS in Computer Science / Engineering

• Understanding of software testing principles, including test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression testing.

• Experience with general purpose programming languages (Python, Shell, C++...)

• Experience with Git

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Github actions)

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in French and English

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with pytest

• Experience with embedded systems

• Experience with Docker
