Senior Business Manager Netherlands H/F Abylsen

Your challenge

To support our ambitious growth in the Netherlands, we are looking for a (Senior) Business Manager with a strong understanding of the Dutch engineering consulting market.

This is not a role focused on managing an existing portfolio. We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who is excited by the opportunity to develop and expand our presence in the South of the Netherlands.

You may be based in regions such as Eindhoven, Breda, Tilburg, Den Bosch, Roosendaal or Zeeland, but regular presence at our Antwerp office is required to ensure close collaboration with management, recruitment teams and colleagues.

Your responsibilities

Business Development

• Develop and grow Abylsen's engineering consulting activities in the South Netherlands region.
• Identify and acquire new clients within sectors such as Industry, Energy, High-Tech, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and related engineering environments.
• Build long-term partnerships with key decision-makers.
• Understand customer challenges and propose tailored consulting solutions.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure client satisfaction.

Recruitment & Consultant Management

• In close collaboration with our Talent Acquisition team, identify and attract engineering consultants.
• Build and manage your own team of consultants.
• Support, coach and develop consultants throughout their career path.
• Ensure a high level of consultant engagement and retention.

Business Unit Development

• Act as a true intrapreneur and contribute to the growth strategy of the Dutch market.
• Monitor business performance and profitability.
• Define and execute action plans to achieve ambitious growth targets.
• Work closely with the management team based in Antwerp.
