We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager Aerospace & Defense Europe F/M to drive the development, retention and profitable growth of a portfolio of strategic pan-European customers. Reporting to the Aerospace & Defense Sector Market Leader, you will lead strategic customer relationships, negotiate complex commercial agreements and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple countries to deliver sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic Aerospace & Defense accounts across Europe.
- Define and execute European Account Plans to drive profitable growth.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including Procurement, Supply Chain and Executive leadership.
- Lead pan-European commercial negotiations and coordinate international tenders.
- Ensure consistent commercial, contractual and operational execution across countries.
- Coordinate Sales, Operations, Solutions, Finance, Legal and IT teams within a matrix organization.
- Monitor business performance through revenue, profitability, service quality and key KPIs.
- Identify supply chain optimization opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
- 8-12 years' experience in transport, logistics or supply chain.
- Proven track record managing strategic international or pan-European accounts.
- Experience in Aerospace & Defense logistics is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation and financial acumen.
- Fluent English is essential; an additional European language is an advantage.
