Missions of the job

The mission of this role is to grow Adisseo's ruminant product portfolio in the French market, with a strong focus on methionine and specialty solutions.

This includes identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key players in the ruminant sector (nutritionists, feed companies, technical influencers), and promoting amino acid balancing strategies in ruminant diets.

The position requires a solution-based sales approach, technical credibility, and close collaboration with customers to meet sales targets and reinforce Adisseo's position as a leader in ruminant nutrition.

Responsibilities
- Develop the sales of Adisseo's ruminant product portfolio by promoting amino acid balancing strategies (methionine) and other effective commercial approaches.
- Design, implement, and maintain a territory business plan, ensuring achievement of defined sales targets.
- Build and manage a strong commercial network, actively participating in conferences, industry events, and networking activities to reinforce Adisseo's image as a leader in amino acid nutrition.
- Continuously monitor market trends, business opportunities, and competitive intelligence.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports to keep the team informed of key activities, opportunities, and challenges within the territory.

Qualifications

Hard Skills
- +5 years of experience in technical and commercial roles in ruminant nutrition.
You have a strong understanding of the French ruminant market and a solid network of industry contacts.
- You are fluent in the language of nutritional formulation (INRA, CNCPS, NRC...) and have a good grasp of on-farm performance challenges.
- You are comfortable working independently as well as within a team environment, and you enjoy fieldwork (around 50% travel).
- You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work both autonomously and effectively within a team environment.

Education
- A master's degree in agriculture or nutrition or equivalent through experience
- Experience in the animal feed industry
