Technical Account Manager : Experience and Skills

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager to support our customers, ensuring seamless adoption and optimal performance of our solutions. In this role, you will provide expert guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver professional services to maximize customer success. This includes understanding the customer's technical environment and identifying creative ways in which Stormshield products can solve their problems or create new opportunities.

We are seeking a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in Technical Account Management, post-sales, systems engineering, or support roles.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting network security architectures, with in-depth knowledge of key concepts including the OSI model, Dynamic routing, SD-WAN, Firewall, IPSec, SIEM, and more.

In terms of language skills, fluency in German is required, while a good level of English is also necessary. Knowledge of French is a definite plus.

What is the job description for the Technical Account Manager?

Your main missions :
- Act as an advocate for the customer by resolving technical issues;
- Become a trusted advisor by providing professional services and proactively offering technical recommendations and best practices;
- Conduct regular ticket review meetings with the customer;
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the customer and with the internal teams : support, Product Management, R&D;
- Manage customer expectations until each case is resolved;
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business and technical needs to deliver relevant information, guidance, and support;
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting across the entire product line, recreating customer environments in lab, and propose solutions or workarounds;
- Escalate software and hardware related issues to support and R&D departments and ensure appropriate follow-up;
- Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams to formalize product improvements;
- You may also play a role in supporting pre-sales activities.
