Based in Paris, London, Lisbon, Singapore and Hong Kong, we maintain lifts, escalators, automatic doors and fire safety systems. With 300+ employees, we combine on-the-ground expertise with data-driven management to deliver high-performing, transparent, and sustainable maintenance.
We don't just maintain buildings. We transform how they're operated.
👥 Why join us?
Because here, you don't have to choose between autonomy and stability.
Large groups often offer stability, but little room to manoeuvre. Smaller organisations allow more freedom, but sometimes without clear direction.
At WeMaintain, we strike the right balance:
Real autonomy, with modern tools and strong support
A culture built on trust, transparency and respect
Genuine opportunities for growth and internal mobility
A team that values commitment, perseverance and the drive to make things happen
And our values guide us every day:
Care: Working with respect and kindness, internally as well as with our customers
Grit: Seeing things through, with high standards and determination
Uniqueness: Daring to be yourself, sharing your ideas and challenging the status quo
👀 Who we're looking for
We are looking for a Head of Sales to lead our commercial strategy and sales team in France.
In this role, you will own commercial growth across maintenance, modernisation and new installation. You will be responsible for building a strong sales rhythm, improving pipeline visibility, strengthening forecast accuracy, and making sure our sales activity is aligned with operational delivery and margin expectations.
You will manage and develop a sales team working across maintenance and modernisation. Your mission will be to bring clarity, performance and consistency: stronger qualification, sharper account plans, better CRM discipline, tighter forecasting and more effective deal governance.
This is a hands-on sales leadership role in a technical, operationally complex environment. You will work closely with the France Managing Director, the Global Head of Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product and our field teams.
Previous sales leadership experience in the lift industry is essential for this role. We are looking for someone who has already sold lift maintenance, modernisation or technical services and successfully managed and developed a commercial team in this market.
To succeed, you will need to understand how field-based services work, how operational constraints impact commercial decisions, and how to build trust with clients in industries where quality, reliability, margin and delivery really matter.
📌 Your day-to-day at WeMaintain
As Head of Sales France, your role will be to lead commercial growth while building a strong operating rhythm for the French sales organisation.
Sales strategy & revenue growth

Own sales performance across maintenance, modernisation and new installation
Build and maintain a strong pipeline with clear visibility on monthly, quarterly and annual targets

Strengthen our positioning with property managers, facility managers, asset managers, consultants, public sector clients and key decision makers
Ensure inbound and outbound opportunities are properly prioritised, qualified and converted
Represent WeMaintain in senior client meetings, strategic discussions and relevant industry events
Sales leadership & team performance
Lead, coach and develop the French sales team across maintenance and modernisation
Set clear targets, expectations and performance standards
Run effective 1:1s, pipeline reviews and performance conversations
Coach the team on qualification, negotiation, tender writing, pricing and closing
Build consistency and accountability across the sales organisation
Create a strong sales culture based on ownership, care, grit and high standards
Tendering, pricing & deal governance
Lead tender strategy for maintenance, modernisation and new installation opportunities
Ensure each opportunity is properly qualified and documented, including decision makers, influencers, competitors, risks, pricing, margin and route to close
Build a clear pricing approach that balances growth, competitiveness and gross margin
Challenge low-quality or high-risk opportunities when needed
Ensure large or strategic deals follow the right internal approval and governance process
Make sure we do not just win deals, but win deals that are profitable, deliverable and aligned with our operational reality
Salesforce, forecasting & sales discipline
Make Salesforce a reliable source of truth for the French sales team
Improve CRM discipline across pipeline stages, close dates, next actions, probability and forecast accuracy
Provide clear weekly and monthly reporting to the France Managing Director and Global Head of Sales

Bring more predictability, transparency and accountability to the sales rhythm
Strategic accounts & market credibility
Own and develop strategic relationships with key clients, consultants and market stakeholders
Build account plans for priority customers and target portfolios
Identify opportunities for growth across existing and new accounts
Develop senior relationships with property managers, facility managers, asset managers, consultants and key decision makers
Bring strong knowledge of the lift, building maintenance, technical services or field operations ecosystem
Share market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends, consultant influence and relevant regulatory developments
Sales & Operations alignment
Work closely with Operations to ensure what we sell can actually be delivered
Ensure smooth handovers from Sales to Operations, Customer Success and project teams
Partner with Finance on margin, invoicing, cash collection and contract risk
Share market insights with Product, Tech, Marketing and Leadership teams
Help build a stronger bridge between commercial ambition and operational execution

You're a great fit if you:
Have proven senior sales leadership experience within the lift industry
Have strong experience selling lift maintenance, modernisation or related technical services
Understand how technical service contracts are sold, delivered and renewed
Have managed and developed a sales team before, ideally in a market where sales performance depends heavily on operational credibility
Have a strong track record in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving property managers, facility managers, asset managers, consultants, public sector clients or similar decision makers
Are comfortable with tenders, pricing, negotiation, strategic account management and contract risk
Understand the link between sales, operational delivery and margin
Know how to build a reliable pipeline and drive strong forecast discipline
Are comfortable using Salesforce or a similar CRM as a real source of truth, not just an admin tool
Can quickly build credibility with Sales, Operations, Finance, Leadership and clients
Are both strategic and hands-on: you can define the plan, but you are also willing to get close to the deals and support the team directly
Speak fluent French and professional English, as you will work closely with both French and global teams
🌟 Bonus points if
You have experience selling recurring service contracts
You know the French property, facilities management or building maintenance ecosystem
You already have relationships with property managers, asset managers, facility managers, consultants or key decision makers in the French market
You have previously led a sales team through a phase of transformation, scale-up or performance improvement
You have a good understanding of technical regulations, compliance-heavy environments or operationally sensitive contracts
You have worked in a scale-up or fast-growth environment where you had to bring structure without creating unnecessary complexity

You deliver the French sales targets across maintenance, modernisation and new installation
You improve pipeline coverage and forecast accuracy
Salesforce becomes a reliable source of truth for the French sales team
The team has clear targets, clear priorities and strong commercial routines
Strategic opportunities are properly qualified, priced and governed
Gross margin is protected or improved
Sales and Operations are strongly aligned, especially on large or complex deals
Handovers are cleaner and sold commitments are realistic and deliverable

WeMaintain strengthens its position with key clients, consultants and strategic accounts in France
In the first few months, we would expect you to:
Understand the team, the market, the current pipeline and the key commercial risks
Bring more clarity to forecast, deal stages and priority opportunities
Strengthen the way Salesforce is used across the team
Identify where each team member needs coaching or support
Build trust with Sales, Operations, Finance and the France leadership team
Clarify qualification, pricing, handover and deal governance expectations
Establish a strong rhythm of pipeline reviews, 1:1s and performance follow-up
🎁 What we offer
A strategic leadership role with direct impact on WeMaintain's growth in France
Real ownership over the French sales strategy and team performance
Strong support from the France Managing Director and Global Head of Sales
A concrete, technical and field-based business where your work has visible impact
A company that combines scale-up autonomy with the stability of a strong international group
Modern tools, a collaborative culture and a high bar for execution
The opportunity to build a strong commercial organisation in a market with huge potential
Compensation package:
A base salary of €65,000 to €80,000 per year, depending on experience
An annual performance bonus of €30,000 at target
