YOUR ROLE
Join our Marketing Department at the Lesaffre International Baking Center! As a Data Analyst intern, you will help analyze data from our databases, develop and deploy our internal bread-making test management application (Bamareto), and optimize internal digital tools (Digital Planning, Kapitalize, etc.).
Reporting directly to the Knowledge Management Manager, you'll occasionally collaborate with the Marketing Data Analyst on cross-functional projects and help foster a data-driven culture within our department.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Quality Management
- Collect, clean, and prepare data,
- Conduct data quality audits and identify areas for improvement in the current data model,
- Implement automation to ensure higher data quality and lead a community of Key Users on data quality issues,
- Participate in integrating the internal Bamareto application with the Data Platform (Group MDM).
Data Analysis
- Collaborate with business teams at various Baking Centers around the world (managers, baking technicians, formulators) as well as the marketing , and sales departments to understand their needs and provide tailored analytical solutions,
- Produce business analysis and make recommendations to managers and identify business partners,
- Design and implement Power BI dashboards with relevant KPIs addressing various business, marketing, and sales challenges,
- Optimize and simplify analytical models,
- Develop tailored communications for each user group.
Technology Watch
- Identify new tools and technologies to improve data analysis.
Le profil recherché
Education
- In the final year of a master's program (Bac +5),
- Engineering school, university degree in statistics/data,
- A dual degree in agricultural engineering, biology, or chemistry combined with data science would be a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in visualization tools (Power BI),
- Solid knowledge of database management (SQL, DAX, Data Verse),
- Proficiency with MS Office 365 tools (Power Apps, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint) Basic knowledge of Python would be a plus,
- Knowledge of information systems engineering is a plus (React.js, Node.js),
- Basics of Data Security Management and Change Resistance Management.

- Strong writing and interpersonal skills, both internally and externally (with external service providers).
Languages
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential,
