Job Summary

The Senior Lead Sales Engineer leads complex technical sales engagements across key Telco and Media accounts and is accountable for driving the technical win. The role combines customer discovery, solution design, technical strategy, whiteboarding, stakeholder engagement and cross-functional leadership to align Equinix capabilities to customer business and technology outcomes.

This role requires the ability to engage confidently with customer stakeholders on network architecture, application architecture and infrastructure design, and to identify how those environments can be improved for better performance, resilience, scalability and security.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery, qualification and solutioning for strategic opportunities across the Telco and Media sector

  • Own the technical relationship with customers and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle

  • Understand customer business priorities, technical requirements, current-state architecture and target-state goals, then map them to Equinix solutions

  • Hold architecture-level discussions on network design, interconnection strategy and application environments, identifying opportunities for improvement and modernization

  • Design end-to-end solutions spanning data center, interconnection, cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments

  • Lead customer meetings, technical workshops, whiteboarding sessions and executive-level discussions with clarity and authority

  • Support complex RFIs, RFPs, quoting, technical documentation and customer deliverables

  • Influence internal stakeholders across sales, operations, capacity, customer success and other teams to support effective opportunity execution

  • Mentor other Sales Engineers and contribute to best practices, knowledge sharing and broader Solutions Engineering development

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in technical sales, pre-sales or solutions engineering, ideally in data center, cloud, networking or telecommunications environments

  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, interconnection, network modernization and hybrid cloud architectures

  • Ability to discuss customer network architecture and application architecture in a credible, consultative way and recommend practical improvements

  • Proven success leading complex customer engagements and influencing technical and business stakeholders

  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-changing environment

  • Strong French and English written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

  • Mener les processus d'analyse des besoins clients, de qualification et de développement de solutions pour saisir des occasions stratégiques dans les domaines des télécommunications et des médias

  • Assumer la pleine responsabilité des relations techniques avec les clients et agir à titre de conseiller ou conseillère de confiance pendant tout le cycle commercial

  • Comprendre les prioritésd'affaires, les exigences techniques, l'architecture en place et les objectifs des clients, et déterminer les solutions Equinix en conséquence

  • Engager des discussions sur l'aspect architectural relativement à la conception de réseaux, à la stratégie d'interconnexion et à l'environnement d'application, en vue de cerner des occasions d'amélioration et de modernisation

  • Concevoir des solutions bout-à-boutintégrant les centres de données, l'interconnexion, ainsi que des environnements d'infrastructurenuagiqueet hybride

  • Animer des rencontres clients, des ateliers techniques, des séances de remue-méninges et des discussionsavec descadres, avec clarté et autorité

  • Offrir un soutien pour lesappels d'intérêt, les appelsde propositions, la documentation et des livrables clients complexes

  • Conseiller les parties prenantes internes dans leséquipes commerciales, opérationnelles, des capacités, du succès client, etc.,afin de contribuer à une réalisation efficace des occasions d'affaires

  • Accompagner d'autres ingénieurs et ingénieures commerciaux, et contribuer au développement de pratiques exemplaires, au partage de connaissances et, généralement, de l'ingénierie de solutions.

Qualifications

  • Vaste expérienceen ventes techniques, prévente ou ingénierie de solutions, idéalement dans des environnementsdecentres de données,nuagiques, de mise en réseau ou de télécommunications

  • Excellente compréhension de l'infrastructure des centres de données, de l'interconnexion, de la modernisation de réseaux et des architecturesnuagiqueshybrides

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Poland - Warsaw Office WAO : 217,000 - 325,000 PLN / Annual
