Forvia Interiors is looking for a Global Commodity Manager IT to be based in Nanterre

ROLE PURPOSE
The Commodity Manager IT defines and deploys the IT commodity strategy, manages the supplier panel and secures competitive, reliable and compliant sourcing for IT services, software, hardware, telecom and digital solutions.

KEY MISSIONS
- Define and deploy the IT commodity strategy across regions and Business Groups.
- Manage the IT supplier panel, including selection, evaluation and rationalization.
- Lead RFQ / tender processes and awards in line with purchasing governance.
- Negotiate software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecom and IT services contracts.
- Partner with IT, Legal, Cybersecurity, Finance and business stakeholders.
- Develop market intelligence, benchmarks, cost models and TCO analysis.
- Drive savings delivery and productivity tracking with Finance.
- Ensure supplier compliance with cybersecurity, data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Manage supplier risks, business continuity and escalation plans.
- Define and report commodity KPIs, supplier QCD, savings and risk status.

EXPERIENCE
8+ years of relevant experience in procurement / commodity management, including IT purchasing in an international environment.

EDUCATION
Master's degree or equivalent level in Business, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain or a related field.

KEY COMPETENCIES
- Strong knowledge of IT sourcing categories and supplier markets.
- Proven negotiation and supplier-management capability.
- Good understanding of software licensing, SaaS, cloud and IT services contracts.
- Strong analytical, cost-modelling and TCO mindset.
- Ability to work with IT, Legal, Cybersecurity and Finance.
- Fluency in English.
