We are looking for our next Head of Sales, Mexico within our Mexico Sales Team. The Head of Sales, Mexico is responsible for leading the commercial execution and market development activities for the country. This role will own revenue delivery, strengthen customer relationships, manage key accounts, and execute the regional (Americas) sales strategy at country level. This leader will oversee covering both commodity and valueadded ingredient portfolios across food and industrial applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands. Additionally, this position will have countryspecific governance obligations (including compliance, controls, and local management responsibilities), collaborating with cross-functional teams such as finance, supply chain, and human resources to ensure compliance and operational excellence within the region.
This position is hybrid, and located in Queretaro.
What You'll Do:
Commercial Execution
- Translate regional strategy into operational sales plans for assigned markets.
- Achieve annual sales targets (volume, revenue, margin).
- Manage national/multicountry pipeline and forecasting accuracy.
Customer & Account Management
- Manage relationships with key customers, including large food manufacturers and distributors.
- Lead negotiations for annual contracts, price reviews, and supply agreements.
- Identify crosssell and upsell opportunities through solution selling and technical collaboration.
Market & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities (segments, applications, distributors).
- Conduct competitive analysis and share customer/market insights with Marketing and Technical teams.
- Support product launches, customer trials, and joint development activities.
Team Leadership
- Build, coach, and develop the sales team to expand market presence and to enable high performance.
- Ensure adoption of commercial excellence tools (CRM discipline, pipeline quality, visit plans).
- Support capability building in value selling and customer engagement.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain on demand planning and service level improvement.
- Work with Finance on pricing, margin analysis, and contract profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, EHS standards, and commercial governance.
What You'll Need:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree; MBA valued
Experience:
- 10+ years with proven senior leadership in sales
- Strong track record in food manufacturing, ingredients, or B2B food solutions
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position that will occur from Monday - Friday.
