Our teams are involved in major international projects, including nuclear, offshore wind, and large-scale infrastructure developments. Through our Challenger office in Paris, we support both French and international operations, contributing to technically demanding and high-profile programmes.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Recruiter to join our Central Recruitment Team, based in our Challenger office in Paris.

The role will support the delivery of recruitment activities across international projects within the Civil Works division, with a particular focus on nuclear, while also supporting local hiring needs in France.

Working closely with hiring managers, HR teams, and the wider recruitment function, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient, and consistent recruitment processes across multiple geographies. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment and contribute to the attraction of talent for complex and high-impact projects.

Main Responsibilities

Recruitment Delivery

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across international and French-based roles, from requisition through to onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define role requirements
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates using a variety of methods (direct sourcing, agencies, job boards, networking)
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle

Stakeholder & Process Management

  • Work closely with hiring managers across civil works and nuclear projects
  • Collaborate with the Central Recruitment Team to ensure consistency in recruitment processes and tools
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to support efficient and timely hiring decisions

Talent Strategy & Pipeline Development

  • Contribute to workforce planning aligned with project timelines and business needs
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines, particularly within nuclear and civil engineering sectors
  • Support employer branding initiatives and represent the business at relevant events and job fairs

Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate data within recruitment systems and track key recruitment metrics
  • Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and internal recruitment policies
  • Support continuous improvement of recruitment practices and reporting

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in recruitment, ideally within engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors
  • Experience managing multiple roles and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Exposure to international recruitment or matrix organisations is advantageous
  • Experience in nuclear or technical environments is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Experience using ATS or recruitment systems (SuccessFactors is of preference)
  • Strong sourcing capability (LinkedIn, direct search, talent mapping)
  • Good understanding of recruitment best practices and selection methods
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to track and analyse recruitment metrics
