The Role
As a Key Account Manager (KAM) for the Italian market, you will be the primary architect of growth for our most valuable strategic sellers. You won't just be managing accounts; you will be acting as a business consultant, helping top-tier brands and distributors navigate the digital landscape, optimize their performance, and maximize their revenue on the ManoMano platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Portfolio Management: Act as the dedicated point of contact for a portfolio of high-value Italian sellers, building long-term partnerships with C-level stakeholders.
- Growth & Business Development: Identify and execute opportunities for upselling, cross-selling (e.g., ManoMano Ads, Logistics services), and catalog expansion to increase our Selection.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze sales data and market trends to provide actionable insights. Lead weekly meetings with sellers of the portfolio to align on growth targets and KPIs.
- Negotiation & Retention: Manage complex contract renewals and negotiations, ensuring long-term retention and upselling.
- Internal Collaboration: Act as the "voice of the seller" by coordinating with Product, Marketing, Logistics, and Customer Success teams to resolve roadblocks and improve the seller experience.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience: 2-6 years of experience in Account Management, Strategic Sales, or Category Management, preferably within a Marketplace or E-commerce environment.
- Native-level Italian is mandatory. Professional fluency in English is required (working language), Ffrench is a plus.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of retaining and growing high-value accounts through data-driven strategies and persuasive negotiation.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using CRM systems, Excel, and data visualization tools to track account health and performance metrics.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and manage expectations across different internal and external departments.
- Proactivity: A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, scale-up environment and can balance commercial goals with client satisfaction.
