CDI - Unstructured Data Engineer - Research & Innovation H/F L'Oréal Groupe

A Day in the Life
You will join the Unstructured Data & Knowledge (UDK) team within L'Oréal Research & Innovation in Clichy, reporting to the Head of UDK. In a compact, multidisciplinary team (~4 engineers) you'll turn documents, images, audio and video into reliable knowledge to accelerate R&I innovation.
- Build & operate scalable ingestion, processing and storage pipelines for text, audio, image and video data.
- Create and maintain knowledge graphs (RDF/LPG), ontologies and QA workflows with domain experts.
- Deploy and monitor extraction models (OCR, NER, LLMs), MLOps and production monitoring.
- Lead agile delivery: manage scope, risks, timelines, stakeholder communication and code/versioning best practices.
- Design reusable technical assets and contribute to the UDK roadmap.

We Are Looking For
You are a hands-on Data Engineer who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, able to lead cross-functional projects and deliver production-grade unstructured data solutions.
Required core skills:
- Data Engineering (Unstructured Data Pipelines)
- Knowledge Management / Knowledge Graphs
- Unstructured Data Processing (OCR, NER, LLMs)
- Machine Learning / MLOps Engineering
- Agile Project Management & Stakeholder Management Required: Master's in Computer Science / Data / AI or equivalent; 6-8 years in data/ML engineering delivering unstructured data solutions; fluent English.
