Senior Cost Estimation Specialist - Roads And Utilities VRD M - W H/F Bouygues Construction

Based at the headquarters in Guyancourt, within the Technical Department of Bouygues Bâtiment International, you will join the VRD (Roads and Utilities) team composed of two people and take on the following responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, including the definition or optimization of the design for external works; detailed pricing based on internal databases, project setups, specific consultations, or feedback from construction sites, along with associated quantity take-offs; and drafting and reviewing technical documents submitted as part of commercial offers or contract documentation.

• You will contribute to quick feasibility studies using quantity and cost ratios from previous projects.

• You will be in charge of producing ratios from detailed studies to benchmark projects and ensure the company remains competitive in technical proposals.

• Additionally, you will support design monitoring, development of studies, and feedback from construction sites, and provide ad hoc technical support to project teams when needed.

• You will also actively contribute to technical monitoring in your field and to knowledge sharing within your area of expertise.

What we're looking for:

• You hold an engineering degree or equivalent university qualification with a specialization in VRD, and have at least 10 years of experience in a design office or in construction within one of the relevant trades.

• You have solid knowledge of VRD standards and techniques.

• You are proficient in office software and comfortable using quantity take-off and cost estimation tools (Mensura, Covadis, Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, etc.).

• You demonstrate rigor, attentiveness, observation skills, organization, and strong critical thinking and synthesis abilities.

• Teamwork is a key strength for you, and you are adaptable to change.

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• You are mindful of carbon impact and biodiversity preservation in your work.

• As part of an international company, fluency in spoken and written English is essential.

Occasional travel to international project sites is to be expected.
