Permanent contract, Based at Suresnes.
Missions :
Bel Global Food law team is looking for a Food Law Manager to fuel the Bel strategy with relevant and proactive regulatory insights, anticipate emerging topics and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and creating the conditions for successful product launches and communications, fostering fair communication with consumers, internal and external stakeholders.
COMPLY
You will contribute to innovation and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations of ingredients, recipes, labels and communications. You will BE coordinating a network of experts based on diverse locations (EU, US, China, Middle East, Japan, Canada...) and managing a Food Law coordinator, helping them to navigate complex and evolving regulatory landscape.
You will act as a project partner, from very early stages of a project until product launch to ensure compliance by design and fair communication. You will contribute to improving tools and ways of working seeking efficiency and simplification.
PROTECT
You will monitor upcoming regulations and anticipate future opportunities or challenges, as well as their impact on Bel products and strategies, with a specific focus on sustainability regulations impacting packaging and green claims, including packaging eco-conception (PPWR), eco-labelling. You will coordinate the international food law network in monitoring these regulatory developments locally.
You will actively contribute to developing Bel positions in collaboration with Public Affairs, Sustainability and packaging teams. You will represent Bel externally to support Bel positions and specificities.
BUILD THE FUTURE
You will BE the main contact of internal stakeholders on these topics to educate on regulatory developments and fuel Bel CSR and strategy.
Profil :
- Background in food sciences and/or law (Master's degree equivalent) and significant experience in the food industry in roles related to regulation.
- Deep Eu Food Law knowledge on labelling and consumer communication, nutrition and health claims, product composition (additives, flavors,...). You are comfortable interpreting soft law and case law.
- Experience working in an international environment, serving multiple countries on topics related to compliance.
- Curious, collaborative, and business-oriented, with the leadership skills necessary to transform regulatory constraints into real opportunities for the company.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to share impactful messages to diverse external and internal stakeholders
- Self starter and proactive, well organized
- Well organized
- Fluent French and english
