WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

Nike is a highly collaborative environment. In addition to leading a team, you will BE part of an ecosystem of HR professionals and business stakeholders. You will partner with our European HQ People Solutions organization and Centers of Expertise in order to drive alignment and to leverage expertise across all HR processes. You will also partner with your People Solutions Consulting colleagues in other regions in order to collaborate, share learnings and best practices. You will also manage key business stakeholder relationships across retail and Corporate in the region, to ensure the needs of our teammates and our business priorities are represented.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a highly skilled and collaborative Director of People Solutions to support our Nike teammates in France. This role is instrumental in shaping the overall Nike teammate experience in the region. IT leads and manages a team of 5 HR professionals, known as People Solutions Consultants, in delivering exceptional HR services across both Nike retail stores and corporate teams, setting the priorities for the region and partnering with key stakeholders across business teams, HR and our European Headquarters.

The candidate needs to BE solution-oriented, with the ability to simplify the complex and set clear priorities. They will BE able to establish great stakeholder relationships and leverage their deep HR expertise to elevate the teammate experience at scale while driving change in how we work in order to continuously improve.
- Extensive experience of demonstrated teammate-facing HR experience, demonstrating strong knowledge of the full spectrum of HR programs and policies.
- Proven people leadership/management experience of experienced professionals, with a demonstrated ability to develop, engage, retain and develop an impactful team.
- High levels of business acumen, with the ability to translate global HR program services and solutions to business & teammate needs both across retail and corporate employee populations
- Understanding of a broad range of HR processes and teammate lifecycle moments, and the ability to leverage technology and systems to unlock efficiency and opportunities.
- Experience in leading with influence and establishing effective relationships across functions. Known for being a strong collaborator.
- Experience of working in a dynamic retail environment, with well-developed industry knowledge, market insights & proven enterprise thinking.
- Data/Analytical skills
- Strong Program/Project Management Skills - End to end Process Thinking and implementation
- Understanding of local nuances & country employment legislative context as well as experience of managing works council and labor relations.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will have the opportunity to play a strategic HR leadership role, while leveraging strong partnerships and expertise from our global and European HQ teams. As part of an organization with a strong, people-oriented culture, you will also BE at the centre of a significant HR transformation as Nike evolves its HR operating model to leverage scale and elevate our impact.

On a day-to-day basis, you and the regional People Solutions Consulting team will BE responsible for the delivery of integrated HR solutions across the Nike business, including guiding teammates & managers through complex issues, designing & implementing scalable HR solutions, delivering training, managing HR program delivery, providing country-specific legal/regulatory expertise and compensation & benefits support. You will also leverage your knowledge and regional insights to proactively identify opportunities to drive operational efficiencies and best practices.

You will work in relation with the local Labor Relations expert to establish a strong and healthy relationship with the works council and other labor relation bodies in service of the enterprise strategic needs and in line with regulatory requirements.

As the leader of a team, you will coach, develop and inspire your team. You will enable the team to do great work by monitoring the team workflow and volume and adjusting plans according to key priorities. You will support with escalated matters and set clear objectives and KPI's for the Consulting Team.

You will quickly develop a deep understanding of our business, and the needs of our teammates and managers in the region, and will partner back with our broader People Solutions organization and Centers of Expertise to deliver exceptional solutions.

HR Transformation : Nike HR is undergoing a significant transformation, focusing on optimizing the organization through technology, self-service, and new ways of working. This role will BE pivotal in driving this transformation, ensuring efficient service delivery and strategic planning

Agile Way of Working : The HR organization will adopt an agile way of working, with no dedicated resources to specific functions or leaders. As the leader of this team you will manage work through a centralized system and introduce a service catalogue with service level agreements.

Leadership Expectations : This role comes with leadership expectations, including managing a larger HR team and driving end-to-end ownership for resolving complex cases. In this role you will influence critical stakeholders inclusive of business leaders, HR leaders, local works council and navigate through a matrix organization

Strategic Planning : The role requires strategic and result oriented planning and alignment across senior levels of the organization.

Program/Project Planning : This role requires strong program/project management experience and skillset
