Data Engineer - CI/CD
📍 Location: Marseille, France (Hybrid)
💼Contract Type: Freelance or Umbrella Company (Portage Salarial)
💰Rate: €450 - €550/day, depending on experience and skills
🗓️Start Date: December 2026 - January 2027
🎯 Context
As part of a Data team, you will contribute to data development and transformation activities, while also playing a key role in CI/CD practices and deployment processes.
You will support the use of deployment tools and assist team members in implementing CI/CD best practices to meet the needs of various Data projects.
Key Responsibilities
Data Development & Transformation
- Participate in the development and enhancement of data processing solutions.
- Use dbt to write SQL queries, transform data, and help structure data models.
- Work within an environment leveraging Snowflake and Airflow for data processing and orchestration.
Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD)
- Utilize and contribute to CI/CD pipelines supporting Data development.
- Work with Jenkins, XL Deploy, and Camunda (or alternatively GitLab CI) depending on the technical environment.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of integration and deployment processes.
- Help improve deployment reliability and troubleshoot deployment-related challenges.
Technical Support & Team Enablement
- Guide developers in the use of CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
- Assist in identifying and resolving integration and deployment issues.
- Foster collaboration between Data Development teams and production/release management activities.
Le profil recherché
Required Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong expertise with dbt, particularly for querying and data transformation.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD practices, with hands-on experience in Jenkins, XL Deploy, Camunda, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with Snowflake and/or Airflow.
- Ability to support and mentor developers on deployment tools and best practices.
- Fluent English is mandatory. French is not required.
