What they need
Project context
An international financial market infrastructure organisation is looking for a Technical-Functional Business Analyst to support its IT teams in designing and documenting new features related to Cash and Derivatives.
The consultant will work on critical financial market applications and collaborate with business, product, IT, architecture, development and testing teams in an international environment.
The assignment requires strong analytical and writing skills, as well as fluent English, since both the project documentation and day-to-day interactions will be conducted in English.
Goals and deliverables
The consultant will be responsible for:
Analysing business and functional requirements and translating them into clear documentation;
Writing User Stories and acceptance criteria;
Producing detailed functional specifications;
Describing the functional design of services and features;
Writing external interface specifications;
Documenting data flows and interactions between applications;
Formalising business rules and functional configuration elements;
Documenting information and data models;
Producing functional analysis documents;
Collaborating with business, product, architecture, development and testing teams;
Applying a new documentation methodology within the projects.
The main expected deliverables are:
User Stories and Agile artefacts;
Functional Specifications;
Interface Specifications;
Functional Analysis Documents;
Information Model and Data Model Documentation.
Le profil recherché
Profile wanted
Required Skills
Between 5 and 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst or Technical Business Analyst;
Proven experience writing functional and technical-functional specifications;
Strong knowledge of User Stories and acceptance criteria;
Good understanding of application interfaces, data flows and data models;
Experience working in an Agile environment;
Knowledge of financial markets, Cash products and/or Derivatives;
Experience with trading, exchange or financial infrastructure applications is highly appreciated;
Excellent analytical, synthesis and writing skills;
Fluent English, both written and spoken;
Engineering degree or equivalent academic background preferred;
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
Remote work: 1 day per week;
