Les missions du poste
From Abylsen we looking for an experienced Automotive Project Quality Engineer to support quality activities for automotive projects and new product introductions.
This position will play a key role in ensuring compliance with customer quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle, leading APQP activities and coordinating PPAP submissions while working closely with cross-functional teams and customers.
💻 Your day-to-day
- Lead the deployment of the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process and ensure successful delivery of the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
- Ensure that Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements defined by Engineering are correctly translated into technical specifications and fully understood by all stakeholders, including suppliers.
- Drive and facilitate APQP reviews, risk assessments, and quality activities with both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Assess PPAP deliverables and ensure all CTQs are adequately controlled before approval.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Industrialization, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to guarantee product and process quality.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage multiple components simultaneously (typically between 30 and 70 references), ensuring proper prioritization and planning.
- Identify risks, anticipate potential impacts on project timelines, and proactively escalate issues when required.
- Support audits and quality assessments, including supplier evaluations and process reviews.

✨ What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Quality, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within an industrial environment.
- Previous technical experience in Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrialization, Methods, or Quality.
- Strong experience managing quality activities related to mechanical components.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanical parts.
- Experience with APQP and PPAP methodologies.
- Quality mindset with strong attention to detail and continuous improvement orientation.
- Ability to lead discussions and challenge cross-functional teams and suppliers when necessary.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluent Spanish (mandatory).
- Fluent English (mandatory).
