Saint Laurent Data Scientist Intern H/F Kering

ROLE

You will join the Data & AI team at Saint Laurent, working on advanced analytics, machine learning systems, and AI-driven products supporting business decision-making.

MISSION

As a Data Scientist Intern, you will contribute to the development of machine learning models and data-driven systems by leveraging internal and external datasets, including open data and web sources.

Key Responsabilities:

1. Data Acquisition & Feature Engineering

• Collect and structure internal and external datasets for modeling purposes
• Develop data pipelines (APIs, web scraping, open data sources)
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering for ML use cases
• Build enriched datasets to improve model performance

2. Data Analysis & Experimentation

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and insights
• Support hypothesis testing and data-driven experimentation
• Build analytical datasets to support model training and evaluation
• Contribute to data storytelling for business stakeholders

3. Machine Learning & AI Development

• Participate in the design, training, and evaluation of machine learning models
• Contribute to AI use cases such as prediction, classification, and recommendation systems
• Explore and prototype LLM-based or agentic AI systems
• Monitor model performance and iterate on improvements

PROFILE

• Master's student in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals
• Experience with data manipulation libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)
• Interest in AI systems, LLMs, or applied machine learning
• Curious, rigorous, and comfortable working with complex datasets

Internship of 6 months to meet in July 2026.
