Your mission, roles and responsibilities

As an HR Business Partner within a large international matrix organization, you will play a key role in supporting our R&D Center in Bavans (2550) and partner closely with managers and employees to develop people capabilities, attract and retain top engineering talent, and deploy global HR processes locally. You will also ensure the successful implementation of talent management programs while supporting business growth and organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to provide strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle.
  • Advise managers on employee relations matters, organizational changes, performance management, and career development.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified engineering and technical talent.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver effective recruitment plans, including coordination with external recruitment partners when required.
  • Lead and support talent review and succession planning processes to identify key talent, high-potential employees, and critical succession pipelines.
  • Drive the deployment of global Talent Management processes, ensuring consistent calibration, development planning, and follow-up actions.
  • Identify learning and development needs and coordinate the implementation of global and local training initiatives in partnership with Learning & Development teams.
  • Promote employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and retention initiatives that foster an inclusive and high-performing culture.
  • Support annual HR processes including performance reviews, salary review campaigns, workforce planning, and organizational reviews.
  • Monitor and analyze HR KPIs, including headcount and labor cost (HC/LC), providing meaningful insights to business leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with French labor legislation, company policies, and HR governance standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and actively support change management initiatives.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Education

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a generalist HR role within an international and matrix organization.
  • Experience supporting engineering, R&D, industrial, or technical populations is highly desirable.
  • Solid experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.
  • Experience in workforce planning, headcount and labor cost controlling is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of French labor law and HR best practices.
  • Experience working in an international environment is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using HR metrics to support decision-making.
  • High level of intercultural awareness and collaboration within a global matrix organization.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. (Minimum B2 _ Ideally C1)
