Software AI & Cloud Architect (SDA Team) Location: Bull HPC sites in France: Grenoble (38), Les Clayes-sous-bois (78), Bruyères-le-Châtel (91), Bordeaux (33), Rennes (35), Toulouse (31) or Montpellier (34). Other locations in Europe or Remote options available. Team: Solution, Design & Architecture (SDA) The Mission: Scaling our Software ArchitectureThe SDA team is the deeply technical "architectural heart" of our business line. In the past, HPC presales focused primarily on cluster management and compilers. Today, the landscape has shifted: our customers now demand Sovereign Cloud-native architectures and End-to-End AI pipelines.While we already have dedicated expertise in this field. We are looking for a second Software Architect to to approach these complex deals and design solutions which will large and sensitive AI workloads. What You'll Do
* Architect the Future: Design modern software solutions for complex bids, moving beyond standard monitoring to architecting OpenShift ecosystems and multi-tenant environments to architect HPC/AI hybrid cloud environments.
* Scale our Reach: Partner with the existing software lead to cover an increasing volume of deals, ensuring every tender receives top-tier architectural design.
* Be the Technical Voice: Analyze and translate precise customer requirements into airtight technical architectures. You will own the software chapters of our technical proposals.
* On-Site Defense: Stand in front of CIOs and lead researchers to defend our architectural choices and prove our software superiority.
* Product Influence: Act as a bridge to Product Management and R&D. Your frontline experience will directly influence the development of our future "as-a-Service" (aaS) software models.
* Deal Strategy: Collaborate with the wider SDA team to build financially and technically viable solutions that win Tier-0 projects.
The Tech Stack
* Core: Kubernetes (K8s), Docker/Podman, Red Hat OpenShift.
* Virtualization: Expertise in both "Light" (Containers) and "Heavy" (KVM/VM) virtualization.
* AI Pipelines: Deep understanding of training and inference workflows.
* OS Foundation: Native-level fluency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/CoreOS).
* The "Plus": Knowledge of Cluster management software, Slurm, InfiniBand, or parallel file systems.
