Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?

More specifically, your mission will involve:

  • Work with different teams across Sweep to understand their data questions and help them find the answers they need

  • Create dashboards and reports in Metabase that make complex data easy to explore and understand

  • Keep our data reliable by running checks and helping monitor data quality, so everyone can trust the numbers they use

This internship is a great opportunity to learn modern data practices and gain hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and BI tools in a real production environment.

That sounds just right for me. What do I need to bring?

Qualifications 🏆

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or a related field

  • Strong interest in data modeling, analytics engineering, SQL, and dbt

  • First hands-on experience with dbt (academic, personal, or internship projects) is required

  • Some experience (academic or personal projects) with data transformation tools or BI tools is a plus

  • Eagerness to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment

Qualities 🧠

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and curious

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

  • Great communication and teamwork skills

  • Passionate about working with data to drive impact

  • Excited about Sweep's mission to create a better future for all of us
