Context:
As part of strengthening a department dedicated to web projects and digital platforms, a well-known company is looking for an experienced Web Project Manager.
The position is within a structured, delivery-oriented environment, with fixed-price projects involving strong functional and organizational challenges (corporate websites, web platforms, intranets, business applications).
The role requires strong overall project management capabilities: scoping, budgeting, planning, coordination, and contractual commitment.
Mission & scope:
The role covers the entire lifecycle of web projects, with direct responsibility for commitments made.
Scoping & specifications:
- Analyze client needs and lead scoping workshops.
- Write functional and technical specifications in collaboration with internal teams.
Fixed-price project management (key requirement):
- Manage fixed-price contractual projects.
- Commit to deadlines, costs, and quality of deliverables.
- Anticipate deviations and implement corrective action plans.
Budget planning and management (key requirement):
- Develop complete project budgets (workload, costs, margins).
- Ensure financial tracking throughout the project and manage profitability.
- Perform budget arbitrations with stakeholders.
Coordination & governance:
- Coordinate project teams (technical leads, developers, business stakeholders).
- Set up tracking tools and indicators (planning, KPIs, reporting).
- Lead project committees and steering committees.
Le profil recherché
Profile required
The position requires a profile with the following mandatory criteria:
- Minimum 5 years of post-degree experience in managing digital/web projects on a fixed-price basis (IT services company or digital/web agency).
- Engineering degree or Master's degree in IT/digital.
- Proven experience in independently building full project budgets (not just tracking or estimation).
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
- Comfortable using collaboration and management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project or equivalent).
