Job Description

This position plays a key role in supporting and securing the Group's global strategy by partnering closely with Global Product Strategy and Human Resources teams.
The role requires balancing legal risk management with pragmatic, solution-oriented support in a dynamic, international environment, directly contributing to business performance and organizational transformation.

CHALLENGES OF THE POSITION

Within the Worldwide Operations, Global Product Strategy and Human Resources Legal Affairs Department, reporting hierarchically to the Director of the Department, you will be responsible for the legal support of the Global Product Strategy and Human Resources functions.

You will operate in a highly transversal, fast-paced, and international environment, combining legal rigor with business pragmatism, strategic insight, and a clear ability to take positions and guide decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Strategic Legal Partner - Global Product Strategy & Human Resources

  • Act as a trusted legal advisor and strategic business partner, with a strong operational focus:
    • to Global Product Strategy teams across key strategic activities, including marketing and promotional activities, pricing and market access, market research, competitive intelligence, and digital/data initiatives;
    • to Global Human Resources teams across core operational activities, including workplace and general services (catering, facilities management, cleaning, security and workplace operations), headhunting and executive search, training and coaching services, employee mobility, and other HR-related support services.
  • Support and advise Global Product Strategy and Human Resources projects from a legal and risk management perspective, clearly articulating legal positions and recommendations.
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage a broad range of agreements (including agency agreements, market research and consulting agreements, data licensing and digital platform services agreements, facility management and workplace services agreements, headhunting and executive search agreements, master services agreements and related statements of work), ensuring alignment with internal policies, business objectives, internal governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Structure, assess, and frame global collaborations with external partners and service providers.
  • As needed, support other global functions on strategic services-related negotiations (e.g., public affairs, IP agent mandates, insurance brokerage).

.

2) Contracting Excellence & Legal Tools

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve contract templates, playbooks, and master framework agreements for Global Product Strategy and Human Resources.
  • Contribute to contract lifecycle management, legal process optimization, and the delivery of high-quality, consistent legal documentation.

3) Business Partnering & Training

  • Support key requests for proposals (RFPs) and tender processes, ensuring legal robustness and commercial clarity.
  • Design and deliver pragmatic legal training sessions on contracting best practices, competition law, confidentiality and data risks, staff secondment, and related topics.
  • Act as a proactive and solution-oriented legal partner, putting forward clear proposals and practical alternatives to enable informed and timely decision-making.
  • Ensure transparent communication on timelines and deliverables, and commit to respecting agreed deadlines.

4) Governance, Risk & External Counsel Management

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and ethical standards.
  • Coordinate with Compliance, Data Protection, Procurement, and Digital/IT teams on transversal matters.
  • Manage external counsel, balancing quality, efficiency, cost control, and effective knowledge sharing.

Candidate Profile

PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Law (Business Law, International Law, or equivalent).
  • 4 - 5+ years of experience in an international legal department and/or law firm.
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial and services agreements, strategic advisory and consulting contracts, and cross-functional projects.
  • Experience supporting product/business strategy functions and/or HR (excluding employment law), including facility and workplace services, is a strong asset.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a business-oriented mindset and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a complex, multicultural environment, with exposure to senior stakeholders.
