Purpose
- The purpose of this internship is to deploy data exploration frameworks and support stakeholders in establishing and maintaining high data quality standards, contributing to better decision-making and data governance across the organization.
Areas of responsibility
- Deploy and configure data exploration frameworks to enable self-service analytics across business units.
- Support stakeholders in establishing data quality standards, metrics, and monitoring processes.
- Conduct data profiling and quality assessments to identify and resolve data issues.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand their analytical needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Create dashboards and reports to monitor data quality metrics and exploration activities.
- Document data quality processes, best practices, and framework usage guidelines for knowledge sharing.
- Participate in data governance initiatives and contribute to the development of data quality policies.
Expected results
- Successful deployment of at least one data exploration framework accessible to business stakeholders.
- Definition and implementation of data quality metrics and monitoring dashboards for key datasets.

Required skills and qualifications
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and quality validation.
- Advanced skills in data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik) to create dashboards and reports.
- Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis, including pivot tables, formulas, and data validation.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis, quality checks, and basic automation (pandas, numpy, matplotlib).
- Understanding of data quality principles, including data profiling, cleansing, validation, and monitoring techniques.
- Experience with or willingness to learn data quality tools and frameworks (e.g., Great Expectations, Talend Data Quality, Azure Purview, or similar).
- Exposure to Cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for accessing and analyzing data.
