HSE Design Specialist - Remote H/F HOUSE OF ABY

💻 Your day-to-day as an HSE Design Specialist

• Develop and document HSE design for new energy and decarbonization projects.
• Prepare safety layouts, evacuation routes, critical areas and escape & rescue studies.
• Perform Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) according to ATEX/IECEx, especially in hydrogen or efuel facilities.
• Design and review Fire & Gas Mapping, integrating sensors, coverage and mitigation strategies.
• Produce HSE deliverables for FEED and Detailed Engineering (safety equipment lists, technical specifications).
• Participate in risk studies: HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, SIL, LOPA and SIMOPS.
• Analyze risks related to lowcarbon hydrogen production technologies with 99% CO capture.
• Assess risks in sustainable fuel production processes, including captured CO integration.
• Collaborate closely with process, piping, instrumentation, electrical, utilities, layout and control teams.
• Work with suppliers of lowcarbon technologies (electrolyzers, capture systems, highefficiency equipment).
• Attend onsite workshops in Paris for technical alignment and 3D model reviews.
• Ensure compliance with international standards: API, NFPA, IEC, ISO, ATEX.
• Guarantee designs aligned with energy efficiency, environmental performance and projects targeting 90-99% CO capture.
