Coordinateur HSE - Exploitation & Maintenance H/F ABYSS ENERGY

We are currently seeking an experienced Operation & Maintenance HSE Coordinator to support and ensure the effective implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements during operations and maintenance activities, in compliance with project specifications and company standards.

Missions

• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements on site

• Supervise and monitor HSE performance during O&M activities

• Implement and manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system

• Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are in place

• Coordinate and oversee Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) to prevent conflicts and risks

• Perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure workforce awareness of HSE requirements

• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformities, and follow up on corrective actions

• Prepare and maintain HSE reports and documentation

• Liaise with contractors, site teams, and management on all HSE-related matters

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven field experience in HSE supervision within operations and maintenance environments

• Strong knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems

• Solid experience in risk assessment and hazard identification

• Demonstrated experience managing SIMOPS activities

• Good understanding of Oil & Gas industry standards and practices

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment

Languages

• English: Fluent (mandatory)

• Portuguese: Desirable
