R&D Engineer F - M H/F Linde France

What you will enjoy doing

• As an R&D Engineer, you will play a central role in designing, developing, and optimizing PVD sputtering targets with a focus on advanced materials for semiconductor applications
• You will lead experimental work and manage projects from ideation through proofofconcept
• You will work across multiple manufacturing processes, including melting and casting, thermomechanical processing, bonding & joining, and CNC machining
• You will collaborate closely with operations, quality, and commercial teams to ensure product innovation, manufacturing excellence, and customer satisfaction
• You will ensure compliance with the Quality Management System by leading the associated R&D process (IATF 16949 and ISO 9001) and deploy APQP methodology for management of change
• You will monitor industry trends and emerging technologies

What makes you great

• You possess a PhD degree in Materials science, Metallurgy or related field, and you have already gained at least 5 years of experience in a related industrial environment
• You have strong project management skills and experience managing technical challenges
• Excellent communication skills, including strong written and spoken English is mandatory
• You are able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
