Software Engineer - AI-ML Solutions H/F HOUSE OF ABY

As a Software Engineer in the AI/ML, you will work closely with the Innovation Department of a global energy leader committed to electrification and decarbonization.

Your mission is to build AIpowered software solutions that enhance operational efficiency across the organization. These solutions leverage industrial data and corporate data making familiarity with industrial settings a strong advantage.

¿What would you be doing in your day a day?

You will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of software solutions integrating machine learning models.

You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and domain experts to create performant, scalable, and reliable applications suited to industrial environments.

This position is remotefriendly, but residence in Catalunya is preferred to facilitate periodic presence at our Barcelona office and effective collaboration with the team.

Software Development
- Design, implement, and maintain applications embedding AI/ML models.
- Build and maintain data-processing pipelines using industrial and OT data sources.
- Develop backend APIs, services, and frontend components using Python, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and adherence to engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, validation, and continuous improvement processes.

Technical Collaboration
- Work with data scientists to integrate, optimize, and deploy AI/ML models.
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Contribute to system architecture and cloud deployment discussions (AWS).
- Participate in technical workshops and cross-functional engineering activities.

Engineering Practices
- Apply Agile methodologies and internal development processes (including NPI where applicable).
- Ensure compliance with security, reliability, and quality standards.
- Contribute to improved tooling, pipelines, and engineering workflows.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
