Aeronautics Quality Engineer - ERP Transformation Remote F - M H/F HOUSE OF ABY

The Quality Operations Engineer will be responsible for leading all Quality-related processes, standards, and deliverables within a major ERP migration program (from M3 to SAP). The role combines deep Operational Quality expertise in aeronautics with strong project leadership in a multi-site, multi-country industrial environment.

Acting as the central coordinator for the Quality workstream, the position ensures consistent Quality processes, data integrity, and cross-functional alignment across international plants. This includes process harmonization, data migration, system validation, change management, and postgolive stabilization for Quality modules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the Quality Stream of the ERP Transformation

- Own and lead the Quality workstream for the ERP migration program across all participating sites (Europe, North America, North Africa, etc.).
- Define the end-to-end Quality functional scope in SAP (QM, QN, inspections, audits, records, traceability, etc.).
- Analyze legacy M3 / AS400 / local processes and ensure requirements fit the SAP target model.
- Drive process harmonization and standardization across sites.
- Pilot data mapping, cleansing, migration, and validation activities for all Quality objects.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for the Quality domain.

2. Operational Quality Expertise (Aeronautics)

- Ensure that Quality processes meet aerospace regulatory and customer requirements (AS9100, EN9100, EASA, FAA where relevant).
- Integrate aeronautics-specific standards into SAP Quality processes (FMEA, SPC, PPAP, FAIR/AS9145, QRQC, internal audits, etc.).
- Guarantee compliance of certification, documentation, and traceability within the new ERP.

3. Cross-functional & International Leadership

- Facilitate collaboration between local Quality Managers, operations teams, central IS/IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, and project leadership.
- Organize and animate workshops, process reviews, risk assessments, and steering committees.
- Ensure permanent alignment between central Quality governance and project execution.
- Lead communication routines and contribute to change management efforts across sites.

4. Risk, Issue & Stakeholder Management

- Identify risks, define mitigation plans, and escalate blocking points related to Quality scope.
- Track KPIs, milestones, and deliverables; report status to project management.
- Coordinate communication to customers when project deliverables impact Quality or compliance.

5. PostGoLive Support & Continuous Improvement

- Ensure processes are stabilized after golive.
- Support the deployment of training, documentation, and standardized work instructions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, QRQC, problem-solving).
