Program & Costing IT Functional Lead H/F FORVIA

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Our Group Information & Technologies (GIT) department is looking for a Program and Costing IT Functional Lead (M/F).

The role is primarily located in Bavans (25), France, though we are open to assigning it to another company site.
The Program and Costing IT Functional Lead manages a team responsible for applications supporting both program management and program costing processes. He/She ensures the operational performance of these solutions and leads related IT projects, acting as the primary interface for Group Program and Sales stakeholders.
The role includes maintaining effective communication with management and internal customers, setting and tracking individual objectives within the team, and ensuring that all projects follow the company's standards. The Functional Lead also contributes to improving overall IT performance, demonstrates strong business leadership, and builds solid customer relationships while providing technical insight to project teams.
Key responsibilities include defining global processes, architectural guidelines, and technical environments; ensuring the consistency of specifications and deliverables; organizing Go/No-Go meetings and steering committees; and monitoring both the IT budget and team resources. In addition to project management duties, the position may require providing Level 3 support when necessary.
His/ Her main missions and results:

- Provide guidance on enhancements or new solutions following GIT standards
- Support process design to fit with Customer requirement and Business objectives
- Ability to think strategically, to adapt to changes
- Communicate progress and issues to the N+1
- Ensure continuous improvement, for example:

- Analyze statistics in real time and ensure regular hierarchical reporting via KPI,
- Recognize and anticipate problems and advise management accordingly,
- Maintain data continuity on existing application landscape,
- Help the functions to take actions in order to promote best practices and improve the data quality

Deliverables

- Support design and build on projects (supervise functional and technical specifications)
- Organize adhoc meetings and steercos with business stakeholders
- Ensure maintenance of application documentation
- Coordinate topics with transversal teams

Your profile and competencies to succeed

The ideal candidate will have/be:

- Minimum 4 years experience in project management
- Ideally experienced in a similar role, if possible, in an industrial company
- Ideally, a background on program management tools (Planisware in particular)
- Ideally, a background on costing and pricing tools is a plus (TM2, TCPCM)
- Strong interest for Data Analytics
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage team in a matrix environment
- Good level of English (mandatory) - minimum B2 - Ideally C1
- Solid decision-making skills with ability to act autonomously when appropriate
- Team player strongly focused on consistent delivery and quality with a customer-oriented mindset
