L'Oréal Research & Innovation (R&I) has continuously invested upstream in its research with a high level of ambition. Our 4 100 L'Oréal R&I people are talented and highly skilled, located in major markets, working in a cooperative way, open to the world.

L'Oréal's Safety, Regulatory affairs, Claims, and Microbiology department seeks a driven and experienced Digital Initiative Owner to join its digital transformation team. This role demands a blend of digital expertise, data science and IT knowledge, and a strong affinity for biological and medical sciences. The focus will be on leading digital initiatives within Cosmetovigilance (Post Marketing Safety), requiring close collaboration with global teams and experts in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Systems Coordination: Oversee the entire lifecycle of solutions used for managing regulatory data related to cosmetovigilance. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to align solutions with business, scientific, technical and regulatory needs. Supervise functional support and incident management, ensuring system quality. Maintain up-to-date system and process documentation. Oversee testing strategies and ensure validated system maintenance.

- Planning and Governance: Plan and lead framing workshops, ensuring all deliverables align with governance processes and meet established gates. Define and track value delivery throughout the initiative lifecycle. This involves defining success metrics and regularly reporting on progress against these metrics.

- Collaboration and Execution for incremental value delivery: Enable the iterative building process, translating ideas into concrete value increments. Actively participate in building workshops and testing of solutions. Closely collaborate with global cosmetovigilance teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation. Collaborate with digital product teams during the build phase, focusing on delivering business value.

- Deployment and Change Management: Define, monitor, and manage the deployment and change management strategies associated with the initiatives to ensure solution adoption, new process integration, and monitor user value, addressing any resistance to change effectively.

- Overall Impact and Vision: Own the overall impact of the initiatives, considering the "who, what, for what gain, and for what change" aspects. Maintain a clear vision for how digital transformation can enhance cosmetovigilance processes and feed a more global digital model related to Human safety assessment.

- Agile Practices and Risk Management: Adhere to Agile methodologies and rituals. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks related to project delivery, planning, and deployment. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.

Qualifications:

- Engineer or Master degree

- Relevant experience (at least 5 years) in digital transformation or data sciences, ideally within the industry.

- Fluency in English is a must-have.

Skills and Experience:

- Digital Expertise: Proven experience in leading and managing digital transformation initiatives.

- Data Science : Strong understanding and practical application of data science principles.

- Scientific Affinity: Demonstrated interest and knowledge in biological and medical sciences, particularly relevant to cosmetovigilance.

- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with global teams and experts.

- Functional Skills: Demonstrated skills in functional slicing/user impact analysis.

- Learning Agility: Appetite for continuous learning and adapting to new challenges.

- Prioritization and Focus: Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain focus in a dynamic environment.
