Les missions du poste
What you will do
Vendor, Axles and Transmissions department is one of the key areas within Group Trucks Purchasing with a specific focus on complete systems or organs. We focus on developing strong collaboration models with our partners and lead the journey towards answering to the Volvo group future needs for complete Axles, Engines, and Transmissions.
At Vendor Team you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will BE taking the lead in driving some of our key business. You will BE based in Lyon, work in a truly global team and have a purchasing responsibility for one of our major partners for the future. Your day-to-day activities will lead you to :
- Have an Entrepreneurial mindset to drive the business you will BE responsible.
- Perform Data collection, management, and analysis for the transformation.
- Develop a strong relationship with our partners for the future.
- Support development of strategies from cradle to grave for the components you will BE responsible.
- BE the change and drive the change internally and externally.

- Strong proven first experience of at least 2 years in an industrial purchasing environment
- Good level of negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Cross functional leadership skills.
- You are enthusiastic and performance driven
- Being fluent in English.
- University degree in Business or Technology related fields.
