Senior Data Engineer H/F Hitachi Solutions

Required Technical Skills
- Strong expertise with Apache Sparkdevelopment, performance tuning and optimisation (PySpark preferred; Scala or SQL also relevant).
- Hands-on experience inMicrosoft Fabric, particularly withLakehouses, Data Pipelines, andNotebooks.
- Deep knowledge ofDatabricks, including development workflows, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
- Experience withAzure Data Factoryand/orFabric Data Factoryfor orchestration and data movement.
- Solid understanding ofData Lakehouse architecture, Data Modeling (Dimensional/Star Schema), andETL/ELTbest practices.
- Familiarity withCI/CD for data solutionsusing Azure DEVOPS.
- Understanding ofdata governance, security, andRBACwithin the Azure ecosystem.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working in aconsulting or professional servicesenvironment.
- Knowledge ofPower BI, especially for working with Microsoft Fabric datasets.
- Familiarity withInfrastructure-as-Code (IaC)for Azure (e.g., Bicep, Terraform).
- Understanding ofreal-time data processingwith Azure Event Hub, Stream Analytics, or similar.
- Exposure toMachine Learning pipelinesor supporting Data Science teams is a plus.
