YOUR TASKS :
As part of its strategy to strengthen its Fixed Income Desk, Kepler's Debt & Derivatives team is seeking ambitious and entrepreneurial-driven young professionals who is keen to join a leading financial player with a set-up across several different business lines.
During your internship you will work with the Debt & Credit team.
Your tasks will involve the below responsibilities :
- You will BE first introduced to the specificities of Fixed Income Desk, by assisting the brokers in place
- Take part in the execution of interbank transactions on markets
- Carry on the relationship with clients and counterparties
- In a second time, your will BE responsible for :
- Developing the IT Tools in place ;
- Following up the trades with back office department.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS :
The candidate should meet the following requirements :
- Student completing a Master's level qualification within a management, economic or engineering subject (you are preferably in your last year of studies, seeking placement);
- Strong academic background; previous internship experience on the trading floor or in Asset;
- Management would BE a plus;
- Keen interest in financial markets ;
- You are fluent in English and French ;
- Ability to build complex Excel spreadsheets, strong computer skills and Bloomberg knowledge is a plus ;
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex information quickly and accurately.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS :
Between 2 and 3 rounds of interviews : both fit and technical questions
