Manager, Quality Assurance and DEVOPS (Reservation)
Business Environment

As part of the Amadeus Reservation product line, this role sits at the intersection of quality governance and DEVOPS transformation. The team is responsible for ensuring end-to-end and transversal quality across the Reservation platform, while also driving some DEVOPS activities such as observability and operational excellence through DEVOPS practices.

Your Main Responsibilities

In this key leadership role, you will lead a team accountable for the quality and reliability of software deliverables from integration testing through production deployment. You will also oversee DEVOPS activities that support continuous delivery, observability, and system resilience.

You will guide the quality strategy and operational excellence for mission-critical systems used by airlines and travel providers worldwide. You will play a vital role in shaping and enforcing cross-functional quality standards, managing quality engineering practices, and implementing robust observability frameworks to ensure reliability, performance, and continuous delivery at scale.
- Lead and manage a team responsible for QA and DEVOPS across the Reservation product line.
- Manage relationship with our 3rd party contracting provider ensuring effective coordination and delivery of outsourced activities
- Define and drive the quality strategy, ensuring alignment with engineering, product, and operational goals.
- Implement and monitor transversal quality governance across development teams.
- Drive end-to-end testing initiatives, including automation, regression, and performance testing frameworks.
- Oversee and expand observability and monitoring capabilities (metrics, logging, tracing) to improve system reliability and incident response.
- Collaborate with product, development, and infrastructure teams to embed QA and DEVOPS best practices throughout the SDLC.
- Act as a key point of contact for quality and operational readiness across releases.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and innovation within the team.

About the ideal candidate
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in Quality Assurance and/or DEVOPS, ideally in a large-scale software product environment.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and DEVOPS tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, etc.).
- Interest and curiosity for observability frameworks, including logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
- Demonstrated ability to implement governance frameworks and influence across teams and geographies.
- Solid understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience in the travel or airline IT industry is a strong plus.
- French & English are required.
