Role OverviewAs a Social Media Specialist at KARL LAGERFELD, you will play a key role in driving and executing the brand's organic social media strategy across multiple platforms. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will lead the daily management of our channels, contribute to campaign storytelling, oversee community engagement, and day-to-day publishing tasks to ensure brand consistency and timely execution. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure our content is engaging, on-brand, and culturally relevant.
Key Responsibilities- Own the planning and execution of the organic content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
- Brief and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (creative team, agency, influencers) to support social content needs
- Ensure timely publication of all posts and accuracy of assets and captions
- Oversee all aspects of community management, in partnership with the Social Media Intern
- Monitor brand mentions and DMs, escalating key feedback or opportunities to relevant teams
- Support engagement tactics such as polls, UGC, influencer reposts, and social activations
- Drive the organic social rollout of key brand campaigns, product launches, and seasonal moments
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and external agencies to align on timelines, asset needs, and campaign storytelling
- Support shoot planning and on-site coverage when relevant (events, influencer activations, etc.)
- Monitor KPIs across all channels and lead the delivery of monthly and campaign performance reports
- Translate performance data into actionable insights and optimizations
- Act as a key point of contact for the organic agency and manage content delivery workflows
- Support the Manager in strategic planning and calendar oversight
- 3-4 year's experience in a similar social media role, ideally within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle
- Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn (publishing, analytics, and trends)
- Skilled in creative briefing, content development, and storytelling
- Confident communicator with experience managing stakeholders and external partners
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership
- Collaborative team player with a flexible and solutions-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
- Passion for fashion and digital culture
