This position is hybrid, based in Bogotá-Colombia or Nice-France.

About the business area :

This role is part of a collaborative software team focused on building scalable, high-quality applications for the Media business within our Hospitality Business Unit. You'll work on Java-based solutions that support mission-critical systems, contributing to the full software development lifecycle-from concept and design to testing and deployment.

You'll collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and design solutions that support Traveler Seller Media and Digital Media. This role involves working with Java, APIs, and application servers, and requires effective communication and teamwork across technology teams.

Summary of the role :

You'll work closely with Business Analysts and team members to design and build tools that support media campaign operations and optimization. You'll also contribute to solution reviews and process improvements.

In this role you'll :
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Media solutions, including microservices and data components.
- Build and monitor data pipelines and streaming processes.
- Explore and evaluate new technologies to support continuous improvement.
- Support software releases and adapt to new data platforms.
- Participate in rotational production support for the components you help develop.

About the ideal candidate :
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience designing and developing applications using Java (8 version or above) and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity or experience with Python.
- Experience with RDBMS like Oracle 19c, Linux or Windows WSL, and containers such as Docker or Postman.
