JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a JDE Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications within the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in JDE development best practices, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
In his/her main activities, the JDE developer will BE asked the following :
- Application Development :Design, develop, and implement new applications and enhancements to existing systems using JDE EnterpriseOne toolset. Customize & optimize JDE solution.
- Best Practices :Establish and enforce development best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
- Collaboration :Work closely with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshooting :Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Provide day-to-day technical production support for assigned modules in the JD Edwards ERP system.
- Integration :Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems and applications.
- Continuous Improvement :Stay updated with the latest JDE technologies and recommend improvements to existing processes and systems.
- Mentorship :Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent English speaking
- Ideally French speaking (basis)
- 2 to 3 years experience in JDE Enterprise One development
- Knowledge of JDE database structures and how the application uses the underlying tables and data.
- Proficiency in JDE development tools (RDA, FDA, C programming), BI Publisher, and JDE Orchestrator, C, C++ & SQL
- At ease with multicultural environment : able to get along with people of different cultures, origins and lifestyles
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, and automated testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solution
- Reliable and responsible
