Your missions

As a Software Engineer, you will take part in the development of new features for Paxone, one of our solutions.PAXONE is a SaaS booking system for transportation, mainly rail. The user interface and the APIs used by external sales sites enable all ticket sales operations : seating, booking, ticket issuance, refund, etc. Drawing on Wiremind's experience, PAXONE integrates innovative modules of CRM, rolling stock management, and transport planning design into a modern ecosystem.

You will solve business and technical enquiries raised by (mostly international) railway, airline or sport clubs, with the support of our Product Experts and Data Scientists.

In practice - even though there is no typical day - you can expect to :
- Develop new features for our end-users, with a strong focus on code quality and working together with a senior developer, who will support you in your progression.
- Take part in maintenance tasks, application monitoring and infrastructure management.
- Tackle technical debt, propose new solutions and challenge architecture decisions to keep on improving the code base.
- Exchange on a daily basis with our product team to share ideas about how to improve our solution, and to develop your understanding of our customer requirements.

- Backend : Python 3.11+ with SQLAlchemy, Remoulade, Flask/FastAPI
- Frontend : TypeScript, Angular, NGRX, D3js
- Data-store : Postgresql, Elasticsearch, Redis
- Gitlab for continuous delivery
- Kubernetes for infrastructure
- Prometheus/Grafana and Kibana for operations

Your profile
- You possess a Engineering degree with a first experience in software development
- You have a strong foundation in Python or an equivalent backend language
- You're passionate about addressing business challenges through innovative technological solutions
- You are committed to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of your work
- You have a solid understanding of computer science and are eager to advance quickly in an environment that adheres to best development practices
