Our team
The Reservation area at Amadeus powers critical operations for booking, ticketing, and PNR management. The NDC[X] program is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing travel industry distribution by integrating airlines via APIs and offering robust after-sales services. Within this ecosystem, the NQP (NDC[X] Quality and Processes) team promotes industrialization and ensures customer expectations are met by driving quality across the board.
Role Overview
As an apprentice in the NQP team, you will contribute to test automation initiatives supporting daily QA activities. You will BE involved in developing tools and test scripts using Robot Framework and Python, helping ensure that functional validations are efficient and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
During this apprenticeship, you will :
- Understand end-to-end flows of the Travel Platform and API usage by customers.
- Contribute to developing Robot Framework libraries for test automation.
- Develop test scripts that can BE executed by QA engineers across different channels (UI, cryptic, WBS).
- Support integration of automated tests into regression test suites.
- Assist in the development of QA support tools (e.g., log extraction for defect investigations).
Your Profile
The ideal candidate :
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of Python (required), XML, Git.
- Familiarity with Robot Framework, Visual Studio Code, and Bitbucket/GitHub is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Organised, methodical, and quality-driven mindset.
