Key points of the position :
As part of a growing engineering team and in close collaboration with Embedded Software Engineers, you will report to the CTO and BE responsible for developing the hardware platforms that power next-generation UWB systems for military applications.
As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, your responsibilities will include :
- Designing high-density, multi-layer PCBs for high-speed signal applications (up to 9 GHz)
- Working on complex board layouts in the 50 Ohm domain with single-ended signals
- Supporting hardware bring-up and integration with embedded software
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on system architecture and component selection
- Running simulations and validating signal integrity
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive hardware documentation
Technical environment :
- Typical PCB stack-up : 6 layers
- Frequencies : High-speed signals up to 9 GHz
- ECAD tools :KiCAD orAltium
Necessary skills :
- At least 8-10 years of experience in embedded hardware development
- Proven expertise in high-density PCB layout and high-speed signal design
- Familiarity with UWB or RF systems is a strong plus
- Experience with signal integrity and power integrity simulations
- Rigor, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset
- A defense clearance will BE necessary for this position - candidates must hold German or Austrian citizenship
