About the Role

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team and help secure and maintain network infrastructures across multiple entities. This role involves monitoring, developing, and implementing security solutions to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and optimize network security infrastructures, ensuring high performance and compliance with security standards. Diagnose and resolve security-related issues, including malfunctions and traffic blockages. Implement, manage, and improve security policies on firewalls and network security devices. Conduct regular security audits, prepare reports, and recommend improvements. Provide technical expertise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with IT security and governance standards. Train internal teams on security best practices and raise awareness of cybersecurity risks. Ensure service quality and security levels meet agreed SLAs while participating in on-call rotations as needed.

Required Skills

Expertise in network segmentation technologies on traditional firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet). Experience in coding and managing security rules for firewalls and network security devices. Strong background in IT production environments, including incident, request, and change management. Proficiency in micro-segmentation technologies such as Illumio and VMware NSX. Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
