Job Responsibilities
As a Service Technician, you will master customer service skills, independently manage field service support for Bystronic equipment, resolve issues, perform repairs, lead installations and commissioning, provide first-level technical support, train customers on our applications, and foster positive relationships.

What you will do
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- Perform field services on all Bystronic equipment and products (laser cutting, bending, automation).
- Diagnose and repair with minimal assistance.
- Perform installations, commissioning, and start-ups of equipment.
Based on a schedule set remotely by After-Sales Service, you will work independently on-site at customer locations.
- Provide first-level technical support on-site.
- Train customers on metalworking applications, machine procedures, and safety.
- Demonstrate technical specialist knowledge on one or more products.
- Build positive relationships with customers.
Permanent Contract (CDI), executive status.
Le profil recherché
Your profile :
- Mechanical/electrical background.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in customer service and/or technical service.
- Experience in the sheet metal bending or laser cutting industry is not only valuable but also a key asset.
What you need to succeed
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Approximately 80% of travel within a 3-hour radius from your residence.
- Technical English required (reading technical documentation and attending technical training at our production centers in various factories abroad).
- Ability to make effective decisions and creatively design programs to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction based on business needs.
- Ability to balance priorities based on repair workload.
- Proven ability to perform well as a self-starter and work effectively within a team.
