amo is a consumer tech company founded by the creators of Zenly, building social apps including Bump and Sugar, used by millions of people.
We're looking for a Web Growth Engineer to join our Web team and take ownership of the user-facing web experiences that drive acquisition, engagement and app downloads.
What you'll work on:
Build fast, polished, conversion-focused consumer web experiences using React, TypeScript and Node.js.
Optimize the journey from shared links to app installs and app engagement.
Implement and improve Universal Links, Android App Links, deferred deep linking and attribution.
Build dynamic Open Graph previews and optimize social sharing experiences.
Own analytics instrumentation, event tracking and conversion funnels using Amplitude.
Design and run A/B tests to improve acquisition, activation and conversion.
Optimize web performance, Core Web Vitals, mobile rendering and in-app browser experiences.
Work closely with product, design and engineering teams, with end-to-end ownership of your projects.
Use AI coding tools effectively to accelerate development while maintaining high engineering standards.
Why join amo?
You'll work on consumer products used by millions, have significant technical and product ownership, and join a fast-moving engineering team with exceptionally high standards.
Location: Central Paris, near Opéra. Full-time onsite, 5 days per week.
Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare, generous paid time off (approximately 8-9 weeks including public holidays and RTT), parental leave and international relocation assistance, including visa sponsorship and one month of accommodation.
Le profil recherché
Must-have requirements:
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally building consumer-facing web products at scale.
Strong expertise in React, TypeScript and Node.js, with excellent frontend engineering fundamentals.
Solid understanding of modern web architecture, including SSR, caching, CDNs, rendering strategies and web performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with deep linking, Universal Links, Android App Links, attribution or web-to-app conversion flows.
Proven experience implementing product analytics, event tracking, conversion funnels and A/B testing.
Strong product and growth mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, formulate hypotheses, ship improvements and measure their impact.
Ability to work autonomously across frontend and backend, with strong ownership of architecture, performance and reliability.
Experience building high-quality, performant interfaces with attention to UX, visual details and mobile behavior.
Comfortable working in an international, fast-paced environment and onsite in Paris 5 days per week.
Strong pluses:
Production experience with Next.js (highly valued, but not mandatory for exceptional React engineers).
Experience with Amplitude or similar analytics platforms.
App Clips, deferred deep linking, dynamic OG previews and social sharing optimization.
Experience with high-scale B2C products, social apps or mobile-first consumer platforms.
Familiarity with GCP, Kubernetes, Bazel or modern cloud infrastructure.
Strong experience using AI coding agents in complex engineering workflows.
Ideal background:
A product-minded Software Engineer or Growth Engineer who combines strong React engineering expertise with hands-on experience in web-to-app journeys, analytics, experimentation and conversion optimization.
We particularly value engineers who have personally shipped measurable improvements to acquisition, activation or engagement, rather than exclusively building traditional frontend interfaces.
