Document Management Engineer - QC / Mechanical Completion
As part of the activities supporting the ITER Project, we are looking for a Document Management Engineer specialized in document management for Quality Control (QC) and Mechanical Completion activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, monitoring and compliance of technical and quality documentation, as well as coordinating document control processes through to approval and close-out.
The position is based in an international nuclear environment, working closely with Construction, Quality, Engineering and Client teams, as well as Chinese, French and international teams.

Main Responsibilities
1. Document Management - Quality Control (QC)
- Prepare, review and control project quality documents and dossiers.
- Ensure that documents comply with project requirements and quality procedures.
- Organize the classification, indexing and archiving of technical and quality documentation.
- Monitor document statuses and review and approval workflows.
- Control document versions, revisions and statuses.
- Prepare document handover and close-out dossiers.
- Ensure the traceability and integrity of quality records.
- Identify missing or incomplete documents and documents requiring corrective action.
2. Document Management - Mechanical Completion
- Manage documentation related to Mechanical Completion (MC) activities.
- Create, register and monitor ITRs - Inspection Test Records.
- Create and manage MCWPs - Mechanical Completion Work Packages within the project's document management systems.
- Monitor documentation and records associated with construction and inspection activities.
- Participate in ITP - Inspection and Test Plan reviews.
- Follow up on actions and documentation through to approved status.
- Prepare and monitor the documentation required for the close-out of Mechanical Completion activities.
- Ensure that dossiers are complete and compliant prior to submission to the client.
3. Project Coordination
- Act as the document management interface between Construction, Quality, Engineering and Client teams.
- Coordinate document exchanges between the various project stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between Chinese, French and international teams.
- Identify and monitor document-related issues or bottlenecks that may impact project progress.
- Prepare monthly document progress reports.
- Maintain complete, accurate and traceable registers and records.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of document management processes and procedures.
- Support the preparation of project follow-up meetings and present document management progress and status.
4. Quality Follow-up and Document Close-out
- Verify the completeness of dossiers prior to submission for approval.
- Monitor comments, observations and requests for corrective actions.
- Coordinate the actions required to resolve documentation discrepancies and non-conformities.
- Track documentation through to final approval and close-out.
- Contribute to the preparation of final Turnover / Handover dossiers.
- Ensure that all documentation complies with project and client requirements.
Candidate Profile
Education
Master's Degree / Engineering Degree (Bac +5) in one of the following fields:
- Engineering;
- Quality Management;
- Technical Documentation;
- Project Management;
- or an equivalent field.
Professional Experience
Significant experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
- Document Control / Document Management;
- Document management within industrial projects;
- Mechanical Completion / Turnover;
- Quality Control within industrial projects;
- Management of technical and quality dossiers;
- Nuclear, energy or large-scale industrial projects.
Previous experience on the ITER site would be a significant advantage.
Essential Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of technical document management within a project environment.
- Good understanding of document review, validation and approval processes.
- Experience in monitoring and managing document workflows.
- Proven experience with the management of:
- ITR - Inspection Test Records;
- ITP - Inspection and Test Plans;
- MCWP - Mechanical Completion Work Packages;
- Close-out and turnover dossiers.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work with complex document databases and document management systems.
- Good understanding of project quality processes.
- Ability to ensure the traceability and compliance of technical dossiers.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SPO tools or document management systems used on large-scale projects.
- Experience in Mechanical Completion / Turnover / Handover activities.
- Knowledge of ITER document management standards and processes.
- Experience in the international nuclear sector.
- Knowledge of Quality Control processes applied to industrial projects.
- Experience in managing construction completion and client handover dossiers.

- Mandarin / Chinese: Mandatory
- French: Fluent
- English: Fluent
Fluency in all three languages is required to ensure effective communication with the various teams and stakeholders involved in the project.
