Group Purchasing Decarbonization Project Leader (Fixed-Term Contract - 3 months)

Within Group Purchasing, our team is responsible for defining, implementing and monitoring supplier risk-management processes related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and responsible purchasing. Our scope includes the Group Vigilance Plan, the purchasing Scope 3 decarbonization trajectory, and the implementation of new European sustainability regulations such as the CSRD and CS3D.

We work closely with Compliance, Sustainability, buyers and Regional CPOs worldwide. We coordinate supplier due diligence across the Group, recommend mitigation actions to CPOs, and monitor CSR-related supplier risks.

We are looking for a Group Purchasing Decarbonization Project Leader to support the deployment and management of our Scope 3 decarbonization roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Group-wide deployment of LeverApp, a tool designed to collect, consolidate and synthesize Scope 3 decarbonization initiatives led by category managers and plants.


• Develop user guides and operating procedures, and deliver presentations and training sessions to category managers and plant stakeholders.


• Test the tool, identify and document issues, report them to the development team, and follow through to resolution to ensure a stable and reliable user experience.


• Facilitate regional and corporate meetings to drive adoption, support users and gather feedback.


• Record identified decarbonization levers in the relevant IT systems, ensuring data quality and consistency.


• Consolidate and analyze data to support the development of decarbonization roadmaps by region and purchasing category.


• Identify and promote best-performing suppliers and best practices across the organization.


• Monitor, refine and update the Purchasing Scope 3 CO2 reduction roadmap.


• Onboard an apprentice, support her/his integration, and contribute to other responsible purchasing initiatives.

Your Profile:

• Strong interest in data analysis and dashboard design to track supplier actions and progress.


• Detail-oriented, curious and proactive, with strong interpersonal skills.


• Strong communication and knowledge-sharing skills, with the ability to coach and train a junior team member.


• Good understanding of CO2 emissions calculations and Scope 3 decarbonization topics.

Education and Skills:

• Master's degree (Bac +5) in Sustainability or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).


• Advanced proficiency in Excel; good working knowledge of Power BI and PowerPoint.


• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
