Operations Manager Orsay Fr H/F Westinghouse Nuclear

About the Role

As an Operations Manager, you will provide leadership for the delivery of Steam Generator maintenance services to operational nuclear power plants.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, high-quality, and profitable execution of operations while developing team capabilities and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with Operations Managers, project teams, and commercial stakeholders, you will help position Westinghouse as the preferred partner for Steam Generator services in the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

• Lead and support Operations Managers and operational teams within your area of responsibility.


• Ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of services across the portfolio.


• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.


• Drive flawless execution by minimizing human error and maximizing equipment reliability.

Business & Performance Management

• Define and implement initiatives to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.


• Develop operating models that enhance competitiveness and financial results.


• Support business growth through resource planning and operational support during proposal and tender preparation.


• Contribute to making Westinghouse the supplier of choice through consistent delivery performance.

Resource & Talent Development

• Develop workforce and training plans aligned with business needs.


• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and competencies are available to support operations.


• Promote cross-utilization of resources and collaboration across the Steam Generator platform.


• Develop and coach talent while supporting long-term capability growth.

Continuous Improvement & Standardization

• Develop tools and methodologies to improve service preparation, field execution, and real-time operational monitoring.


• Drive standardization of processes, methods, and best practices across operational teams.


• Lead improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, reliability, and productivity.

Profile

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).


• Master's Degree in Engineering, MBA, or other advanced technical qualification is preferred.

Experience

• 2 to 5+ years of leadership experience.


• Strong experience in nuclear field services operations.


• Experience in Steam Generator maintenance activities is highly desirable.

Languages

• Fluent French and English, written and spoken.
