Senior Platform Product Manager - CDI H/F Bloomays

The context

The Product organization is structured around several domain squads, each owning business-facing capabilities of the platform.

Alongside these squads, a transversal Foundation squad is responsible for the core capabilities and technical foundations shared across the platform.

Unlike the other Product Managers, whose role is strongly focused on customer discovery and business workflows, the Platform Product Manager will work primarily with internal Product and Engineering teams.

The objective is to ensure that the platform remains reliable, scalable, coherent and easy to evolve as the product grows.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Product Manager to join the Foundation squad.

This is a highly transversal role at the intersection of Product, Engineering and Architecture.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Tech Leads, Software Engineers and Architects to understand system constraints, identify shared platform needs, manage cross-team dependencies and make informed trade-offs.

The role is not about designing the architecture yourself. It is about being technically fluent enough to understand architectural choices, challenge them when necessary and translate them into clear Product priorities.

Your responsibilities

You will own and shape the roadmap for shared platform capabilities, including topics such as:

• APIs and integration patterns

• data models and data architecture

• authentication and authorization

• event-driven architecture

• shared services and platform components

• system reliability and resilience

• scalability and performance

• technical dependencies between squads

• platform consistency and standards

• technical debt and architectural modernization

You will also:

• understand the needs and pain points of internal Product and Engineering squads

• identify which capabilities should become shared platform components versus remain domain-specific

• structure complex technical topics into clear Product problems and priorities

• arbitrate between short-term delivery needs and long-term architectural sustainability

• help reduce unnecessary dependencies between squads

• identify bottlenecks that limit Product or Engineering velocity

• partner with technical leaders on platform evolution and modernization

• define relevant success metrics for platform initiatives

• ensure that platform investments create leverage across several teams, not just one squad

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with strong experience in Platform Product Management or highly technical Product environments.

Seniority here is not defined only by years of experience, but by the complexity of the systems and decisions you have already owned.

You have ideally worked on several of the following areas:

• API platforms

• data platforms or complex data models

• authentication / authorization / IAM

• event-driven systems

• distributed systems

• shared services

• internal platforms

• developer platforms or developer tooling

• enterprise integrations

• platform migrations

• reliability and scalability topics

You are comfortable discussing architecture with technical teams and understanding the implications of technical decisions without needing to be an architect yourself.
